CD-DATA-EXTRACTOR 2006 by MiKe
Welcome to the MP3-lister HQ
What is it, and why would i want to use it?
CD-DATA-EXTRACTOR 2006 by MiKe is a shell script for Linux. It goes by the Unix name of mp3-lister.
It looks at MP3 files on a Cd, and it will look for id3 tags (id3v1 or id3v2 [V1 or V2]) and it will make a file from
the information... If you have pdflatex, it will create a nice table of artist. title, track number and album assuming
the MP3 file has id3 tags. The tagging on the mp3 can be in both formats, but if there is not tag on the file, mp3-lister
will remove (using sed) any funny things in the tack name (such as 128, 256, lame or '-' or '/'). The table is in a plain text
format should pdf latex not be found. ID3V2 is the program used to get the id3 tags
How do i get it?
